The FIM Enel MotoE World Championship season concludes at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. Krummenacher first among the rookies
The first FIM Enel MotoE World Championship with the Ducati V21L bikes has drawn to a close at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Italy.
This was a debut year both for the Ducatis and Swiss rider Randy Krummenacher, who was competing in the electric category for the first time.
The Team Dynavolt Intact GP rider ran a positive season, although there were some challenging moments, particularly during the final part of the season. Krummenacher scored a third-place finish at both Le Mans and Assen, a second place at the Sachsenring and a stunning win at Silverstone, to round out the championship in fifth place overall.
RK: “A very difficult final race weekend but I’m very happy to have competed in such a high-level championship and achieved four podiums, with one win, one second and two third-place finishes over eight race weekends. It wasn’t always easy and at Misano we had some issues that prevented me from running with the leading group.
I finish the MotoE World Championship in fifth place and am the first rookie in the general standings.
I want to thank my team, the sponsors, my family and everyone who has supported me.
Let’s see what surprises the 2024 season has in store.”
